Camargo Corrêa has its origins in a small construction company founded in 1939. It is currently one of the largest private corporate groups in Brazil. Organized as privately-held holding company under family control, it operates in the cement industry, energy and highway concessions, urban transport and mobility, engineering and construction, footwear and property development. It has operations in practically every Brazilian State and a presence in more than 20 countries through its subsidiaries and stock control of other companies.
