Overview

Alpargatas strives to constantly refine its corporate governance, incorporating the principles of transparency, accountability and corporate responsibility into its management model. It belongs to the BM&FBovespa Corporate Governance Level 1 group of companies, committed to even more rigorous levels of management and disclosure to the market.

Governance at Alpargatas is exercised by the Board of Directors and the Executive Officers. They are supported by the Board of Auditors, a permanent board according to Company’s bylaws. All board members have broad professional experience and are versed in diverse business areas.

The Alpargatas business is run by the Executive Officers, consisting of the CEO and eight officers. These executives are aligned with the shareholders’ interests and focused on creating value for the Company, with the incentive of stock options as part of their remuneration.
